Today was definitely uneventful compared to yesterday. I stayed at home, feeling chilly, staying under the blankets practically the entire day, only getting up to brush my teeth and eat spaghetti. It was definitely boring, but at least I got to catch up on sleep. And here is White Collar, something I indulged in today.

Hi. It’s me, being your regular seventh grade teacher (but maybe I’m showing off more legs than the usual norm) I didn’t really do any teaching, which was kind of disappointing for me kasi parang… kulang yung ginawa ko. Well, I did get to talk to a lot of really cool and approachable people during those two days, and I didn’t really get into any conflict - aside from Janos losing his iPhone (but not during my time!). I’m blogging like a crazy maniac, forgetting how to use punctuations as I’m spluttering all over the pages here. I apologize.

But I really would like to thank the students of 7A, 7B and 7C for being so kind and disciplined during my classes! Albeit, they forgot my name, but that’s quite acceptable. Well. Not really. I was really hurt when they forgot my name but nevermind that!

And let us not forget another excellent thing that happened to me today! Inna got tickets for Death Cab for Cutie and we are totally on! I am so stoked, and I haven’t even told my parents yet that it coincides with the trimestral exams but whatever. We are so on.

After a trip to the dermatologist, mama and I decided to play hooky for the day. Ate late lunch in Cyma, while I was running to Fully Booked to grab the much-awaited The Fault in Our Stars. (I just really had to get this asap, despite the fact that my bedside readings are somewhat towering over me)

After watching the mediocre Underworld: Awakening- truth be told, I was immensely disappointed in this fourth installment. I am a gigantic fan of the franchise, and this fourth one just seemed to be pooped out instead of actually being thought of. The plot thickens in a messy, messy, unintellectual way. I am disappointed, though I must say Kate Beckinsale’s age re-defying makeup was amazing! - we hit up this new ramen house in Greenbelt 5 called Kenji Tei.

It was surprisingly good! I totally recommend the Crunchy California Maki and my order above, the spicy ramen; I, unfortunately, forgot what it’s called. But it is crazy good! And crazy spicy too, just the way I like it.

Overall, today was a good day. Very few things in the world beat spending time with my mother. :)

ACTA in a Nutshell –

What is ACTA?  ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

Why should you care about ACTA? Initial reports indicate that the treaty will have a very broad scope and will involve new tools targeting “Internet distribution and information technology.”

What is the goal of ACTA? Reportedly the goal is to create new legal standards of intellectual property enforcement, as well as increased international cooperation, an example of which would be an increase in information sharing between signatory countries’ law enforcement agencies.

Essential ACTA Resources

Just, you know, hypothetical Tangled in the Stars outfits ;-) God I’m so excited, I can’t believe it. And yes, I still don’t have anything to wear.
